In the first installment of a new series on the Saturate Podcast, Brad Watson talks with three disciples at Soma in Los Angeles about living life with gospel intentionality as they work in customer service jobs. They discuss the challenges, opportunities, and role their missional communities play in seeing Jesus saturate their work.

Hi, would you be willing to invest in your recording equipment and set up to improve the quality of your recordings? I find the podcasts very helpful, especially when they are interviewing how others are implementing your teaching, however the poor quality of the recordings can be really distracting and even to the point I turn them off. The feedback, echo. and weird sounds that are sometimes created are very distracting. Where possible recording in quiet room, with all the guests in one place would work best. Or when that is not possible, making sure the host and guests have good microphones (not just the one in their earphones), and making sure the guests are using headphones so they aren’t picking up the sound would be really appreciated. I’m massively blessed by all you do, and would find this incredibly helpful. Thanks.
Thanks for reaching out about this and glad to hear that you’ve found the podcasts helpful. We’d absolutely love to invest in some new recording equipment and it’s been on our radar for a while now. As a nonprofit operating with a very slim budget we’ve had to be slow to make additional investments but are eager to do so. We’ve been encouraged by the engagement on our podcast and want to do what we can to make it the best listening experience. We’re doing our best with what we have right now but look forward to investing more in the near future!
