So many moves of God are preceded by earnest prayer. It’s prayer that makes things happen. We need to be praying faithfully for our lost friends who don’t yet know Jesus. Our Heavenly Father is interested in each person, which is why praying personally for our lost friends matters.
The Bible teaches us that the battle for souls is primarily in the spiritual realm. As Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” After describing this reality, Paul tells us to put on our spiritual armor and “pray in the Spirit on all occasions.” Specific prayers make a difference in the war for eternal life.
