Melissa Magnuson lives in Lakewood, Washington, with her husband, Jon. She has four children through birth and adoption, and has also opened her home as a foster mom. Her growing family now includes a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, and a future daughter-in-law. Melissa holds a degree in Christian Counseling and Religion and has spent decades working with children and families through education, and children's and youth ministry. She now serves on the Saturate team in events and administration. She enjoys the season of summer, paddle boarding, cheering at live sporting events, and walking her dog Oscar, an English Setter mix. She is excited to share this book with her daughter and illustrator, Anna Bowker. She hopes it helps children discover their emotions as God-given gifts, believe Jesus loves them and gave His life for them, and know they can always bring every feeling to Him.
