    Joint Accountabilities, Member & Coach

As a Saturate Coaching Cohort Member, I agree to the below program rules and responsibilities. Please add your information at the top of this form, review, and sign where indicated at the bottom of this page.

    Member Responsibilities:

The Coach considers the coaching engagement as a partnership. As such, Members have certain responsibilities. These include being on time for sessions. If a session is missed, it is the responsibility of the Member to create an action plan with their Coach to accommodate the missed session.* Additionally, it is expected that a portion of the Member’s time during the engagement will be focused on working toward their goals. This means sometimes time will need to be devoted outside of the coaching sessions to the issues at hand, being honest with self and Coach, and acting with integrity.

*Repeated client failure to attend sessions will result in cancellation of Coaching contract without refund.

To a great degree, the level of success of the coaching engagement is dependent upon the Member regularly devoting the time to planning, executing and reflecting on goals.

    COACHING COHORT MEMBER GROUND RULES:

    1. Member arrives at online sessions at the scheduled time
    2. Member agrees to confidentiality of all information disclosed by any member or coach within the cohort.
    3. Member agrees to adhere to the ethical guidelines and standard of practice.
    4. Member agrees to honor and respect other member’s time, person, stage of development, and opinions.

In addition, I agree the following are true:

    1. As a Member, I understand and agree that I am fully responsible for my physical, mental, and emotional well-being during my coaching sessions, including my choices and decisions. I am aware that I can choose to discontinue coaching at any time.
    2. I understand the Saturate Coaching Cohort is a professional relationship I have with my coach and cohort members that is designed to facilitate the creation/development of personal, professional, or church goals and to develop and carry out a strategy/plan for achieving those goals.
    3. I understand that coaching is a comprehensive process that may involve all areas of my life, including work, finances, health, relationships, education, and recreation. I acknowledge that deciding how to handle these issues, incorporate coaching into those areas, and implement my choices is exclusively my responsibility.
    4. I understand that coaching does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of mental disorders as defined by the American Psychiatric Association. I understand that coaching is not a substitute for pastoral, counseling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care, or substance abuse treatment and I will not use it in place of any form of diagnosis, treatment, or therapy.
    5. I promise that if I am currently in therapy or otherwise under the care of a mental health professional, that I have consulted with the mental health care provider regarding the advisability of working with a coach and that this person is aware of my decision to proceed with the coaching relationship.
    6. I understand that information will be held as confidential unless I state otherwise, in writing, except as required by law (ie. for instance, if it is discovered a cohort member is at risk of harm to themselves or others).
    7. I understand that certain topics may be anonymously and hypothetically shared with other coaching professionals for training OR consultation purposes.
    8. I understand that coaching is not to be used as a substitute for professional advice by legal, medical, financial, business, spiritual or other qualified professionals. I will seek independent professional guidance for legal, medical, financial, business, spiritual, or other matters. I understand that all decisions in these areas are exclusively mine and I acknowledge that my decisions and my actions regarding them are my sole responsibility.

    Coach Responsibilities:

Saturate Coaches agree to the following program rules and responsibilities.

    • Providing the services described in this document
    • Maintaining confidentiality except as otherwise agreed, or required by law.
    • Responding within 48 hours during a normal work week to any questions or concerns that are raised. Vacations or other time off will be communicated mutually between Coach and Member and adjustments made accordingly.

    Confidentiality and Ethics

Coaching services will be provided in accordance with these ethical guidelines and standards of practice. All information provided to the Coach will be kept strictly confidential unless disclosure is required by law (ie. for instance, if it is discovered a cohort member is at risk of harm to themselves or others).

Information obtained by the Coach in the individual coaching sessions will not be shared with any persons, including the Members’ sponsor (if applicable). It is the responsibility and discretion of the Member to share relevant information addressed in the coaching engagement with colleagues and superiors.
