Our care team has spent thousands of hours providing shepherding care to countless people.
Our passion is walking with ministry leaders through the unique challenges they face, though we are honored to meet with anyone who desires help and guidance. You will journey together down a proven path, exploring things like your story, emotional health, the love of the Father, and your true self in Christ.
We describe what we do as “leader care” because we prefer to use the word “counseling” to describe the work done by licensed therapists. Our team is not trained to provide therapeutic care for addiction or trauma, or to diagnose or treat mental health disorders. We will be glad to refer you to a licensed counselor if necessary.
Abe Meysenburg
Abe oversees Saturate’s Leader Health initiatives and Leader Care team. He has spent 25 years serving churches in Illinois, Washington, and Alabama. He planted a church with a few others in 2001, but has invested most of his time as a pastor equipping everyday followers of Jesus to shepherd and care for one another. He has been on the receiving end up of a great deal of shepherding care, both formal and informal. He is passionate about walking with ministry leaders through the unique challenges they face, and about helping people learn how to love one another well. He is the founder of The Shepherding Perspective, which provides shepherding consulting, care, and training to ministry leaders and local churches.
Abe is married to Jenn, and they have four adult children. He loves to read, listen to music, hike, exercise, sit around a fire with friends, ride his bike, eat amazing food, travel, and meet new people.
